Our diagnostic radiologists are imaging experts with specialized training in obtaining and interpreting medical images. Utilizing x-rays (radiographs, CT, fluoroscopy) or radioactive substances (nuclear medicine) or by other means such as sound waves (ultrasound) or the body’s natural magnetism (MRI), images of the body are created in order to help answer specific questions about a patient’s medical condition. In correlating the results of these tests with a patient’s clinical history, our radiologists’ aid referring clinical physicians in both diagnosis and management of a wide range of pathologies. Many of our diagnostic radiologists also have additional subspecialty fellowships in Musculoskeletal, Breast, Abdominal, and Neuroradiology, offering the highest possible level of service to our patients and referring physicians.
